From a pile of paper tickets to a platform
Gruble started on a construction site with a problem every contractor knows: trucks paid by the hour, tickets on paper, nobody sure who hauled what or when, and month-end arguments that cost more than the loads. We built an app for the drivers’ phones that put the load, the dump, the time and the position on a record nobody could argue with. Three years, 1,200 users and 200 projects later, that record runs hauling for some of the busiest civil contractors in the DC market — and this year it’s tracking the rest of the fleet too.
We are not a software company that discovered construction. We are a construction team that built software, and we still run jobs on it every day.
